What businesses with work vehicles should know
Work utes, vans and company cars get driven the most, parked outside the most and washed the least carefully. Every one of them is out there with your name on it, and a tired, chalky ute outside a client’s place says something about the business before anyone gets out of it.
The vehicle usually arrives before you do. A clean, glossy ute or van tells a customer you look after your gear, and that you’ll probably look after their job too.
Job sites, depots and car parks mean no shade and full Queensland sun. Bonnets, roofs and tailgates chalk and fade first, and nobody notices until the vehicle is being valued.
Brush washes, a dry rag on a dusty bonnet or a quick go at the servo all leave swirls in the clear coat. A coated surface releases dirt more easily, so a quick wash does less damage.
Paint condition is one of the first things a lease inspector or a buyer looks at. A vehicle that’s been protected and kept clean comes back with fewer marks to argue over.
A ceramic coating won’t stop stone chips, trolley dings or a scrape on a job site, and we won’t tell you it will. What it does is make dust, mud, bugs and grime release from the paint far more easily, so the vehicle actually gets cleaned and stays presentable between washes. Light swirls and wash marks are polished out first, so the coating locks in a finish worth keeping.
Our answer: we prep each work vehicle properly, coat it with Fireball and get it back on the road quickly.

How the job runs
A good ceramic coating will lock in whatever is under it (for up to 10 years!). That’s why every work vehicle gets the same full preparation as a private car before a drop of coating goes on.

1
A careful pre-rinse and hand wash, so nothing gritty is dragged across the paint.

2
Iron fallout remover and clay lift the rail dust, tar and sap a wash can’t shift.

3
Swirls and haze are cut back so the paint reads deep, not dull.

4
A refining pass lifts gloss and clarity, then every panel is wiped ready to bond.

5
Applied and levelled panel by panel by certified installers.

6
Checked under inspection lights, then handed back with your warranty paperwork.

No. No coating stops a stone chip, a ding or a scrape, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. What it does is keep the vehicle far easier to clean, and light swirls and wash marks are polished out before it goes on.
We book one or two vehicles at a time on a schedule agreed with you, so the rest keep working. New vehicles can be done before they go into service.

Yes. Dirt, dust and bugs don’t bond to a coated surface the way they do to bare clear coat, so a wash is quicker and does less damage to the paint.
