What Isuzu owners should know
The D-Max was Australia's fourth best-selling vehicle last year, and the MU-X is built on the same tough underpinnings. Whether yours is a single cab chassis on a job site, one of a business's fleet of D-Maxs, a crew cab that tows the van, or an MU-X doing the school run and the beach, it lives outside and it gets used, which is exactly why the paint deserves proper protection from day one.
We protect every kind of Isuzu:
On a tall ute the top of the cab takes full sun all day and sits above eye level. In one case reported by CarsGuide, Isuzu put fading on top of a D-Max cab down to environmental fallout rather than a factory defect - so it's a panel worth protecting before it starts, not arguing about after.
Job sites, beach runs, red dirt and towing. A coated finish lets mud, salt and sand rinse off the lower panels instead of being scrubbed into the paint.
Black, dark grey and blue D-Maxs and MU-Xs show every wash mark in Gold Coast sun. Most of those swirls go in at the car wash or with a dry rag on a dusty panel, not on the road.
A work ute is often the first thing a customer sees of a business. Corrected and coated, a fleet of D-Maxs keeps a consistent, cared-for look, and the finish rinses clean between jobs instead of being scrubbed with whatever's on hand. New fleet vehicles also arrive with yard marks from storage and a quick pre-delivery wash, which are best cleared before the coating goes on.
A D-Max or MU-X leaves the factory with the same modern colour coat and clear coat as most new vehicles. It corrects well, but on a ute that lives outside under Queensland sun, the roof and bonnet do the hardest work.
