Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating that starts with the paint underneath.

A professionally-applied ceramic layer that keeps paint cleaner, glossier and easier to wash for years — provided the surface below is prepared properly first.

What it is

Ceramic Coating — explained plainly.

Ceramic coating is a thin, hard, hydrophobic layer that bonds to prepared paint. It resists UV, chemical etching and light wash marring, and dramatically reduces how often the vehicle needs to be washed.

  • Long-lasting gloss

A deeper, wetter reflection that holds up for years, not months.

  • Easier to wash

Contamination bonds less aggressively — a rinse removes most of it.

  • UV & chemical resistance

Helps protect against Gold Coast sun, bird lime, tree sap and industrial fallout.

  • Hydrophobic behaviour

Water beads and sheets away, carrying dirt with it.

    The Process

    How the work is done.

    1. Step 01

      Wash & decontamination

Safe hand wash followed by chemical and clay decontamination to remove bonded fallout.

    2. Step 02

      Paint inspection

Panels are inspected under specialist lighting to plan the correction stage.

    3. Step 03

      Machine polish / correction

Swirls, holograms and light defects are refined so the coating bonds to healthy paint.

    4. Step 04

      Panel wipe & coating

Every panel is stripped of polishing oils, then the coating is layered by hand.

    5. Step 05

      Cure & final inspection

The coating is left to flash and cure under controlled conditions before final inspection.

Questions we're asked most often about this service.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Durability depends on the product, preparation and how the vehicle is maintained. Eligible Fireball packages carry up to a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Terms and maintenance requirements apply.

No. Ceramic coating resists light wash marring and chemical etching but is not impact-proof. Paint protection film (PPF) is the right product for stone chips.

In almost every case, yes. Coating over swirls or holograms locks them in permanently.
