What Ford owners should know
The Ranger was Australia's best-selling vehicle in 2025 and the Everest finished fifth, but a Ford on the Gold Coast is just as likely to be a Mustang that comes out on weekends, a Mach-E that charges in the garage or a Transit Custom working for a business. Whichever one you drive, the paint deserves proper protection from day one.
We protect every kind of Ford:
Black, dark grey and deep blue Rangers, Everests and Mustangs show every wash mark in Gold Coast sun. Most of those swirls go in at the car wash, not on the road.
Beach runs, red dirt, job sites and towing. A coated finish lets mud and salt rinse off instead of being scrubbed in, and the areas under canopies, racks and bull bar mounts get cleaned out and worked by hand first.
A Mustang that lives under a cover between drives picks up fine scratches every time the cover goes on and off, and a quick wipe with a dry cloth does the same. A coated finish rinses clean, so it gets washed properly instead of dusted.
The Mach-E carries cameras and sensors that are masked and worked around by hand, never machined or coated over. A Transit Custom has big flat panels that show every wash mark, and a coated van stays presentable between washes.
Like most new vehicles, a Ford leaves the factory with a modern colour coat under a clear coat. It polishes up beautifully, which is good news for correction, but it won't stay that way on its own. Left unprotected, wash swirls, red dirt and Queensland UV start dulling it from the first summer, whatever the model and whatever the colour.
