What Zeekr owners should know
Zeekr has passed 10,000 sales in Australia with just three models: the compact X, the 7X SUV and the 009 luxury people mover. Almost every Zeekr on the Gold Coast is close to new, which is the ideal starting point for a coating. The paint hasn't had a summer to fade or a year of car washes to swirl, so the job is protection rather than repair.
We protect every kind of Zeekr:
New cars are shipped, stored and given a quick pre-delivery wash before you collect them. Fine scratches and bonded fallout are often already in the paint on day one, and they're far easier to sort before a coating goes on.
The darker colours across the 7X, X and 009 look superb and show every wash mark in direct sun. Black in Queensland light is the least forgiving finish there is.
Zeekrs carry driver-assistance sensors behind panels and badges, and flush handles create painted pockets that get touched every day. Sensor surfaces are masked rather than coated, and the handle recesses are done properly by hand.
Cars that live outside on the Gold Coast lose gloss on the horizontal panels first: roof, bonnet and tailgate. Protecting a new finish now is far easier than bringing back a faded one later.
Zeekr is too new in Australia for owners to have built up any track record on how its paint ages, and we won't pretend otherwise. So we treat a Zeekr the way we treat any new car: inspect it under proper lighting, take depth readings across every panel, and let the car tell us what it needs. Like any modern finish, it'll collect wash swirls and lose gloss under Queensland UV if it's left bare.

How the job runs
A good ceramic coating will lock in whatever is under it (for up to 10 years!). That’s why every Zeekr gets a full day of preparation before a drop of coating goes on.

A careful pre-rinse and hand wash, so nothing gritty is dragged across the paint.

Iron fallout remover and clay lift the rail dust, tar and sap a wash can’t shift.

Swirls and haze are cut back so the paint reads deep, not dull.

A refining pass lifts gloss and clarity, then every panel is wiped ready to bond.

Applied and levelled panel by panel by certified installers.
